The
hunting day at PT HUNTING CLUB begins with a
morning dove hunt at a ranch watering hole under an
established white-wing flyway where thousands of doves
fill the sky starting at daylight. There are two flights
of dove each day when they move from roost to feed,
water and then back to the roost during the middle of
the day. A similar pattern is repeated for the evening
flight. Each movement of birds typically lasts from
2 to 3 hours. Hunts will usually take place in two different
locations based on scouting reports from the guides.
Duck
hunting in Los Mochis offers a different scene. Natural
blinds are set up in the tules and decoys spread out
in a protected pocket, while bird boys will stay hidden
until it is time to retrieve your ducks. To host his
hunters, PT has selected the vast wetlands of
Topolobampo Bay, consisting of over 35,000 acres of
marshland.
